Restaurant / FOH Manager Permanent Job

Beautifully refurbished country inn, in West Yorkshire, at the foothills of the South Pennines is looking to welcome a Front of House / Restaurant Manager to their esteemed team.

You will be working in a picturesque heritage inn which lies in an ideal country spot, rich in history, but with modern amenities yet quirky traditional touches.

They are a 5-star AA rated country inn with 19 rooms, 2 bars and a high-end restaurant. The inn is popular with locals and tourists and is also a popular wedding venue.

Essentially you must have a passion for the hospitality industry and work well in a team environment and not be scared to bring new ideas to the business.  Your background will be in a hotel or country Inn.

Your new job:

• Take full control of the downstairs space
• Management of the restaurant, two bars and rooms check in
• Working closely with General Manager
• Overseeing day to day front of house operations in the bars and restaurant and reception
• Very much a hands-on role
• Management and training and development of staff
• Leading by example
• Ensuring guests have the best experience ever
• Maintaining a positive team environment
• Maximising revenue
• Being active on the floor

About you:

• Passionate about the hospitality industry
• Effective manager who can motivate and build a team
• Energetic and confident
• Confident enough to bring and implement new ideas to the business
• Hotel or country inn background
• Good understanding of budgets and P&L
• Food and beverage and front office expertise
• Due to location, driving licence and car essential
• Should already have the legal right to work in the UK / EU

Salary and benefits:

• £30,000 to £35,000 package
• Share of gratuities (TRONC)
• Permanent job – direct with the employer
