Luxury hotel and spa which boasts an AA Rosette restaurant and has a reputation for fine dining and hosting the perfect weddings is looking to welcome a Pastry Sous Chef to the team.

The successful Pastry Sous Chef will already have solid experience of working within a fine dining establishment and will come from a hotel background.
Your new job
Ensure that high standards are maintained in the quality of food, both as to its preparation and presentation
Provision of food preparation cover within the kitchen; including preparation of food, ingredients, and commodities in all areas throughout the kitchen, in readiness for cooking
To ensure that all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines are adhered to receipt and storage of provisions; monitoring stock rotation and ensuring that all food is labelled clearly and correctly
Any other reasonable duties required by the Head Chef
Use your creativity to enhance and grow the current offerings
Background in a similar role in restaurant operations, within a four-star luxury property.
Be able to build, develop, motivate and coach a team. Conduct training of the team to deliver exceptional standards of customer service and product knowledge
Exceptionally customer focused and a people person
A Professional, with an eye for detail to improve and maintain high standards.
A team player with a hands-on approach
Should already have the legal right to work in the UK / EU
Salary and benefits:
£25,000 to £26,000 per year
Permanent job – direct with the employer
Live in available (£195 per month – includes; all food, bills and laundry)
